What a summer.
We have been going going going. And now we’re getting geared up for a new school year.
We bought a pontoon off ebay and de-ghetofied it. James sister had a baby. We went to New York for our anniversary. A week later we took Marranda with us to the North American. Then James brother Abe was here for the week after that. Joanna got engaged to Super Dave. We’ve taken the youth group to Knights action park and Clinton lake and the Zoo. We’re taking them to six flags on Monday. We registered Marranda for school this week. We’re busily putting together lessons and activities for the fall. Though with all that the kids do it's a frustrating process. Everybody in our household has one week left of freedom before school starts. Marranda and James will go to class and I’ll start cracking at my thesis when Marranda starts morning school in a couple weeks. Shortly after that we'll start Beacon Kidz, Youth Group and Women's Bible Study.
Can you believe we moved to Wapella one year ago this week. It doesn't seem like we've been out of Lincoln that long. I don't know that I could put into words what all the first year of marriage and ministry has taught me (though I bet it would be a worthwhile effort). Perhaps it'll turn into a bloging adventure soon. That's all I've got for now... Talk to ya later. It's just about time for a Sunday afternoon nap.
